Why An Independent School Education?

Independent schools share the core values of independence, interdependence, inclusivity and innovation.  They are self-determining in mission and program, free from government control, and governed by independent boards.  Independent schools are powered by creativity, dedication, integrity and the belief that each child¹s intellectual, artistic, social and emotional development is of paramount importance.

Independent Schools provide a variety of stimulating and rewarding enrichment classes, honors and AP courses, experiential learning and leadership opportunities, many of which are no longer offered in the public school sector.

Independent school graduates will make good choices for themselves, their communities, and the world, capitalizing upon those values and skills that won't change and acquiring the new skills and values needed to participate in and contribute to a 21st Century marketplace and global community.

Independent schools adhere to the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Principles of Good Practice that define high standards and ethical behavior in key areas of independent school operations. These practices reflect the overall dedication to quality education that has always characterized independent schools.
